I started Plenty & Grace Advisory Studio because I know what it takes to build in food; and I know what it costs both literally and mentally.
Over the past two decades I've founded and grown ventures across farmgate, value-added production, casual café & toast bar, food truck, and specialty retail. Some of those ventures thrived. Others taught me things no success ever could! I believe all of them combined, make me better at this work.
In 2002 I created The Preservatory; a line of artisanal preserves rooted in innovative flavour pairing, traditional methods and a deep commitment to local, farm-fresh ingredients. What started as a passion project has landed on global shelves. I also co-founded Vista D'oro Farms & Winery in 1997 with my husband Patrick; building a farmgate brand rooted in land and seasonality. In 2020, I built the Plenty & Grace Food Hub & Innovation Centre, a HACCP certified facility.
My background goes beyond operational. I'm also a published cookbook author; The Preservatory, released by Appetite Penguin Random House. I hold a Culinary Arts Diploma with Honours from the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver. That's what I bring to Plenty & Grace Studio. Not a highlight reel, a full picture. Real experience across the whole ecosystem of building a food business, from the first jar for the farmers market, to global markets I never dreamed I'd reach.
